A little reminder to Filipino pet owners

//As we all know, a Filipino New Year’s eve tradition is making a lot of noise to welcome the coming new year. It is the noisiest time of the year. It may be all fun for us humans, but to our pets, it is a very stressful and sometimes lethal experience. 2016 is just a couple of hours away, so make sure to keep your pets safe.

Here are some tips to keep your pets safe:

1. Make sure to keep your pet in the most quiet place in your house. 

2. Be sure that they don’t inhale any air from the outside, as the smoke coming from the firecrackers are lethal to them.

3. It would be better to feed them early, coz in my experience, they will not eat any food when they get stressed from the noise.

4. You probably have a lot of food on your table right now. Try to refrain from giving them too much treats. Or at the very least, make sure they are safe for your pets.
